Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park

Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive towards Aberdare National Park, located in Kenya’s central highlands.
On arrival, enjoy lunch at Aberdare Country Club before transferring to The Ark Lodge, a unique lodge overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that attracts wildlife throughout the day and night.
From the lodge viewing decks, you may spot elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, giant forest hogs, and rare antelopes, as well as many beautiful African bird species.

Day 2: Aberdare – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The journey takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley with stunning landscapes.
Enjoy lunch at Naivasha Country Club before continuing to Maasai Mara through the Sekenani Gate.

On arrival, you will immediately notice the beauty of the vast savannah plains filled with wildlife. The Maasai Mara is considered one of the best wildlife destinations in Africa.

Day 3: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Spend the day exploring the incredible Maasai Mara Game Reserve, home to abundant wildlife and excellent opportunities to see the Big Five animals: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, and Leopard.
An optional Hot Air Balloon Safari in the early morning offers breathtaking aerial views of the savannah and wildlife herds below. After landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast in the wild.
Continue with game drives across the plains where you may see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and many other animals.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon enjoy a game drive around the lake, famous for its spectacular birdlife including thousands of flamingos and pelicans.
The park is also a rhino sanctuary, offering excellent chances to see white and black rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, buffaloes, and leopards.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park before breakfast.
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. In the evening enjoy dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, known for its delicious selection of roasted meats.
After dinner, you may choose to return to your Nairobi hotel or airport, marking the end of your 5 days Aberdare, Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru safari.
