Day 1: Mombasa / Diani – Tsavo East – Salt Lick

Early morning departure from your coastal hotel in Mombasa, Diani or Watamu for a scenic drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway to Tsavo East National Park.
Enter the park and commence your morning game drive through the vast savannah landscapes of Tsavo East. Wildlife sightings may include herds of red elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, waterbucks, impalas and various bird species.
Continue with a game drive en route to lunch at Voi Wildlife Lodge or Shasha Camp.
After lunch, depart for the nearby Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary with an afternoon game drive before arriving at the spectacular Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge.
Check in and enjoy wildlife viewing from the lodge overlooking the waterhole.

Day 2: Salt Lick – Taita Hills – Mombasa / Diani

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for a morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, an excellent area for spotting elephants, buffalo, antelopes, giraffes and predators.
Continue with a game drive until time for lunch.
Return to Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge for lunch before checking out.
After lunch, depart for your return journey to the coast, arriving at your hotel in Mombasa / Diani Beach in the evening.
