Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Pick up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and drive north across the Equator to Samburu National Reserve (approximately 360 km).
Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After some relaxation, proceed for an evening game drive in the reserve.
Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or Elephant Bedroom Camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve

Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.
The reserve is crossed by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which attracts many animals including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife. Samburu is famous for rare species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the long-necked gerenuk.

Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge or similar camp.

Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south to Aberdare National Park (about 220 km).
Arrive at Outspan Hotel for lunch while enjoying spectacular views of Mount Kenya and the beautiful Chania River.

After lunch, transfer to the famous Treetops Lodge, a unique tree lodge overlooking a waterhole and salt lick where animals gather throughout the day and night.

Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning transfer to Outspan Hotel for breakfast before descending into the scenic Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. In the afternoon enjoy an evening game drive around the lake.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its thousands of pink flamingos and abundant birdlife. It is also a protected rhino sanctuary where you can see white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, and leopards.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Mbweha Camp.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve (approximately 320 km).
Arrive in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge, located in a prime wildlife area especially during the Great Wildebeest Migration season.
In the afternoon enjoy a game drive across the vast savannah plains searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, and many other animals.

Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar safari camp.

Day 6: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Start the day with an optional Hot Air Balloon Safari over the Maasai Mara followed by a champagne bush breakfast in the wilderness.
Alternatively enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Spend the day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives.
Relax at the lodge between drives while enjoying breathtaking views of the endless Mara plains.
Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge or similar camp.

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive while exiting the reserve.
Drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon where you will be dropped off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your 7 days Kenya safari adventure.
